A charming, cosy and relaxing lodge neatly located on the shores of a river that feeds three natural hot springs.
This is our favourite place to stay in the Colca Canyon. It is perfectly in harmony with its surroundings, as it is built from mud bricks beneath typical thatched roofs. It is a charming lodge, and the dramatic valley landscapes dont get much better than this.
The 45 adobe-styled rooms are ample, warm and sumptuous spaces in which to relax after a day exploring this dramatic region. The communal area has a small bar with large sofas and a roaring fire to fight off the chill of the high altitude. Other perks include its massage rooms, jacuzzis, a great pool and the fantastic views that wrap around the whole lodge.
The food and service is also superb, and with comfort at the core of its ethos, you will be made to feel very at home in this charismatic spot.
From the lodge you can trek, cycle or soak in the thermal pools after a day's exploration in this remote setting. Most people use the lodge as a base from which to explore the local villages and visit Condor's Cross - a canyon where you are virtually guaranteed to see wild Andean Condors.
