El Remanso is an eco-lodge with a deep rooted philosophy in protecting the 185 acres of private reserve that this wonderful family friendly lodge is nestled in.

The 12 intimate rooms are all comfortable and privately secluded form one another, within easy walking distance to the common area and pool where you can relax in a hammock, enjoy the company and knowledge of the guides and generally marvel at this gorgeous forest.
Each room is decorated with authentic materials, and provide you with an outdoor space to soak in the atmosphere of the surrounding wildlife, and when you tire after a day exploring the Osa Perninsula then you can find comfort in your king-sized bed. Although all excursions have a wildlife element to them they do have a newly installed zip wire where you can try your hand at being Tarzan by exploring the forest a little quicker! There is also horse riding, canopy tours, guided hikes, waterfall rappelling, bird watching, dolphin watching, surfing and kayaking - all you could want from the wild Osa Peninsula.
