Casa de Uco is a couple of hours' drive from the airport, and situated at the heart of the Mendoza wine region in north-west Argentina. This stand-out property has a spa, a gym, a tennis court, bicycles on which to explore the vast property, a very fresh and unheated outdoor pool,a delicious resturant and a bar run by acclaimed sommelier, Juan Pable Nieva.
There are 7 standard rooms, 9 suites and a private villa at Casa de Uco. The rooms have all been designed with large windows through which to wholeheartedly soak up the views.
The seven 'Cordon del Plate' Rooms are the entry level rooms, named after the nearby mountains. They are very comfortable, with all the mod cons and little outdoor balconies.
The suites are called 'Laguna', and are spacious and extremely comfortable with outdoor terraces and panoramic views and an indoor living room.

A few nights' at Casa de Uco is all about food, fantastic wine and exploring this tranquil corner of Argentina. A typical day may consist of a leisurely brunch followed by a wander around the property before heading out to a local winery to learn and taste some of the wines of this famous region. By night it can get a little chilly due to the altitude, and a cool glass of malbec as you look out at the stars is a great way to end the day.
