Esplendor is a modern and comfortable option at the heart of the explorer's base, El Calafate. This little hotel often surprises guests as they walk into a stylish lobby with leather couches, reclaimed wood furniture and local cow leathers. The atmosphere is sophisticated and contemporary.
The hotel has 57 rooms and all the mod-cons you could ever want, (although some could be modernised), in Patagonian hotel. The standard rooms are a good size if you are just planning on using the room as a base. If you are staying here for a slightly longer period of time, then it is well-worth considering opting for a superior room, as they have a larger living space complete with a sofa and table.
The main hotel has a little bar, a spa with an indoor swimming pool and a communal area complete with board games and books.
