Explora are a pioneering company that have three lodges in Chile. They offer luxury, explorations led by their in-house guides and all-inclusive meals. They make it easy and also add extra touches to make your stay feel special.
Newly constructed in 2016, the hotel feels fresh. The 50 immaculate rooms are designed to a very high spec., with large windows overlooking the corn fields and dramatic Andean mountains. It is a very comfortable option.
The hotel also boasts a spa, a restaurant for guests only and a heated swimming pool and a sauna.
Prices are based on full board and all excursions are included. There are over twenty excursions to choose from, including cycling, trekking, horse riding and many other packages that are especially designed to provide a unique and true understanding of the rich landscape here and those that live on it.

The Explora is a good option for those looking to be based in a fairly large hotel for the area and who are happy to take part in daily group excursions with the other guests. Anyone seeking something a little more private, or a bespoke, more boutique hotel stay that is more traditional in nature, then we will advise on alternative options.
