Tip Top V is a beautiful and spacious catamaran for a maximum of 16 passengers. At 112feet in length and 43 feet wide it is one of the larger smaller boats of the Galapagos. There are considerably smaller options where you can feel a little squashed, this is not the case with the Tip Top V. Like Tip Top II, the team aboard the vessel are some of the best that have worked for the long established Wittmer team for years. On board they also have a designated cruise manager that looks after your every need.
Social areas on Tip Top V
The Tip Top V being a new vessel to the Galapagos has space to relax, unwind and observe the views as you sail from island to island. Internally you will find the library and social room where the evening briefings take place- both have air conditioning. They also boast an al fresco dining area at the back of the ship. On the top deck you will find a shaded lounging area also. The style is light coloured varnished woods, white walls and splashed of turquoise and blue throughout.
Cabins on Tip Top V
There are 10 cabins that all have air conditioning, safety boxes, en suite bathrooms with hot water, large windows and cupboards. The upper deck cabins (that cost more) also boast private balconies. The two cabins on the upper deck at the front of the ship have wrap around cabins giving 90 degree views. Cabin configuration varies from single rooms, twin rooms and double rooms.
