Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel provides tranquillity, away from the hoards visiting Machu Picchu. It has been built in 12 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, rife with hummingbirds.
Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel - The Details
This peaceful and charming retreat has 85 rooms and a distinctive Spanish feel, with colourful tiles, roaring open fires (not in the superior rooms), terracotta colours and lots of wooden beams. The rooms all have green views, giving you an experience of nature that is certainly not the norm for this area. There are a variety of rooms that we can talk you through; they are all gorgeous, and depending on how many of you there are and what you would prefer we can make suggestions. In such a busy tourist area this hotel offers something different, and that is what we love about it.
Being out of the main drain not only relieves you from the extremely busy town, it also gives you the opportunity to visit the hotel's spectacled bear sanctuary and to take part in the early morning birdwatching expedition run by in-house, expert guides.
The hotel has a cafe restaurant with a casual atmosphere and a menu with a variety of international and Peruvian dishes. They also have a slightly more formal restaurant that overlooks the Urubamba River.
Machu Picchu Pueblo hotel is run by a very professional Peruvian company.
