This converted town house from the 19th Century is a ten bedroomed property located in the protected UNESCO neighbourhood of Salvador is an adult only hotel.
All of the rooms have a Bahian African theme with local art work, furniture and bright colours throughout. The rooms are comfortable, yet not overly luxurious or comparable to what you might find in other more established areas of Brazil that caters better for tourism. The benefit being that you get a much more authentic experience away from the crowds.
The hotel has a tiny plunge pool that welcomed in the heat of the afternoons when it can get very hot. The bar and restaurant here are very good, and the food is delicious thanks to the French owners who love their food.
